Tomorrow will mark 2 weeks for us in Los Angeles and will most likely be our last day in the studio assuming that my voice is rested after an entire day of screaming. We are wrapping this up four days ahead of schedule which is fantastic but we are so anxious and eager to hear this in it’s entirety. We obviously knew going into this that this product would surpass our last EP, but Erik has done an excellent job in guiding us and developing what we hoped we had in us all along.

I have absolutely no idea when this album will be released or what the future holds for us…but I have high hopes and will set even higher expectations from here on out.

We are so thankful for the amazing amount of support we have been blessed with. We have definitely met a lot of negativity in the face of not only our campaign, but the idea of running off to Hollywood to record an album. We do not share an unrealistic view: we are not going to get famous or become the quintessential “rockstar”; we’ve simply been given an opportunity outside of what we have already known and we’re going to take that chance no matter what any naysayer can do to break our spirits. YOUR positivity outweighs THEIR negativity…so thank you for being a part of our dream. I will be sure to keep a video blog of our ENTIRE journey in LA, so be sure to check back for updates on that. Only 13 more days left of the campaign and we’ve reached about 15% of our goal which alone is awesome, but I know we can do better. I thought we could, anyway.

Well, here is our Indiegogo fundraiser. We will be leaving in just 27 days to record an EP in North Hollywood. This is the biggest and best thing to happen to us as a band and any musical project I’ve belonged to and could possibly be the last.

Only 28 days until our campaign ends. We’ve been blessed to have raised close to 1600 by now, but this hardly covers a portion of our studio costs.

If you would like to help a poor Michigan band get out to LA to record their next album, pass this around! reblog, please! If you are feeling generous, a contribution would make us pee our pants with glee.

If you think crowdfunding is a complete joke and we’re scamming you for money, I’m sure there is a job open at any major record label and/or your local Walmart. ;)

We are asking for your help! As we posted a few weeks ago, we have been given the opportunity to record an album in LA with Erik Ron. We are doing this even if we have to crawl to get there, but we’re hoping that our incredible friends and family can help us so we can avoid going through a record label or borrowing money from a corporation. This puts the power back into your hands. We’re offering up whatever we can…exclusive shirts, cds, stickers, listening parties and even some very ridiculous ideas at the top tiers. We’re trying to keep this fun even though it is very serious for us.

ANNOUNCEMENT TIME: Not only do we have a new single to release today (recorded at The Foxboro in December), but we also have some very important news to share with you:

We have been given the opportunity to fly out to LA in April to record with producer Erik Ron who has worked with the likes of Four Year Strong, Panic! At The Disco, Foxy Shazam and Saosin. This left us bewildered when we were offered the deal and under acute consideration, we took the bull by the horns. We’re very excited about the future of this band and what we can share with you. We will be posting a fundraiser soon to get this show on the road but until then, feel free to stream “Sexy Hot Babe Girlfriend” here and let us know what you think!
